Nestled just north of Port Hope and Cobourg, and only 30 minutes east of Oshawa, Dalewood Golf Club offers a premier golf experience in the heart of Northumberland County. This 18-hole championship course was designed by renowned Canadian golf course architect C.E. Robbie Robinson and is celebrated for both its playability and natural beauty.
Dalewood is a par-71 course set in a meticulously maintained, picturesque landscape featuring over 50 strategically placed bunkers, three scenic ponds, and Gages Creek, which comes into play on eight holes throughout the course. With a strong reputation for excellence, Dalewood has proudly hosted numerous Ontario Championship events, including the Ontario Junior Championships and, most recently, the Ontario Senior Championship.
Beyond the course, guests can enjoy a fully equipped Pro Shop, club storage facilities, and spacious locker rooms complete with showers and changing areas, ensuring a comfortable and complete golf experience.
Dalewood Golf Club offers a flexible and enjoyable playing experience with multiple tee options designed to suit golfers of all skill levels. Players can choose from up to five traditional tee sets, including Gold (6,722 yards), Gold/Blue Combo (6,486 yards), Blue (6,326 yards), Blue/White Combo (6,002 yards), White (5,713 yards), White/Red Combo (5,342 yards), and Red Tees (5,123 yards), allowing each round to be tailored to your game.
To further enhance accessibility, Dalewood has introduced Family Tees, marked by dark orange tees positioned in the fairways. Playing from these tees shortens the course to 3,521 yards, creating a more approachable and enjoyable experience while maintaining each hole’s par. The Family Tees often avoid major hazards such as the creek and bunkers, making them ideal for junior golfers, beginners, families, and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed or shorter round without sacrificing the integrity of the course.
